Hoodie

Before we left for Seattle in May Henry tried on his hoodie to bring along for the cold weather. We think its good look for our little big-eyed bald-headed homeboy.

Punkin hat

Kelly was knitting a hat for our Seattle friends Jeff and Danielle's soon-to-be 1 year old Ari. Her first attempt fit 2-month-old Henry pretty well: I guess she needed to add a few stitches.

A knit hat for Henry

Henry is a baby fashionista if ever there was one. He loves to wear all kinds of cute clothes, and what he loves more than anything, if you can believe it, is to wear funky hats. Kelly knit this hat--I don't know if she intended it for Henry, but if so it's definitely something he'll have to grow into.

Here's how it would look if it fit him. Nice modeling, Henry!

Nana and Grandpa

Nana in Grandpa at our house in Tuscaloosa (Late April), bonding with the H.

"Go Cougs!"

Lammekins

Henry has a few different snuggly toys vying for his affection. Currently his favorite is the blue bear lovey, but this little guy, "Lammekins," is also a contender.

Getting ready for a walk with Nana

"Nana" (=Heike) and "Grandpa" (=JCBoomBoom) came at the end of April to get to know the tiny man a little bit. Here's Henry in his baby jogger getting ready to go for a walk with Nana.

Tummy time!

Henry has serious core strength. He came out holding his head up, and now he can hold himself up from the torso. But he desperately wants to crawl. When he's on his tummy, he can push up with his arms, and he can wiggle forward by shoving his face into the floor and pushing with his knees, but he can't quite push up and get his legs under him yet. He's very frustrated about this, even though we keep telling him he's not supposed to be able to do it for another three months or so. So impatient!
